Herringbone at Boscastle
Item #008
The village of Boscastle
nestles in a cove on Cornwall's north coast, not far from Tintagel
of King Arthur fame. Along the path on the east side of the stream
to the sea is this superb example of stonesetting. The pattern is
called 'herringbone'
most appropriate for a seaside village probably visited at
least occasionally by herring gulls!
